This remedy is derived from the Hawthorn plant.
This remedy is useful in giddiness, lowered pulse and whenever there is air hunger.
This remedy is also useful in persons who gasp for breath, have difficulty in breathing and a rapid pulse with Cardiac failure.
It acts on the muscle of the heart and it is a heart tonic.
It is useful whenever the heart rate is irregular.
It is useful in raised arterial blood pressure.
It is useful in chronic heart disease with low cardiac output and edema.
It is useful when the patient has cold extremities, pallor and irregular pulse.
It is said to have the power to dissolve the athero-sclerotic plaques or fat deposits within the Coronary arteries.
