CANTHARIS.

THIS DRUG IS USEFUL IN REDUCING BURNING IN THE URINE AND STOOLS.

This remedy is derived from the extract of the Spanish fly.

The keynote action is any violent tornado like action with terrible inflamed condition through out the body and mind and is more marked in the lower Gastrointestinal, urinary or genital organs.

This drug is useful where there is a burning sensation of the esophagus and stomach and disgust for everything including drink, food and tobacco.

There may be aggravation after drinking coffee.

It is useful in dysentery with mucous stools with burning and tenesmus.

This drug is extremely useful when the urination is intolerable with urging and tenesmus. The urine is bloody and passed drop by drop and there is a constant desire to urinate.

This remedy is also useful in males who have a strong painful erection with pain in the glans penis. It is useful in priapism (painful sustained erection of the penis) and in gonorrhea, in the first stage.

It is useful in expelling dead fetuses or retained placenta. It is also useful in reducing the burning pain of the ovaries. It is said to be useful in females with Nymphomania.

This drug is useful if there is a pericardial effusion with a feeble irregular pulse.

It is useful for burns, scalds with rawness or smarting. It is useful in vesicular eruptions with burning and itching.

The patient requiring this remedy is worse from touch or urination, drinking cold water and coffee.

The patient feels better after being rubbed, with cold applications, warmth and rest.

This remedy is useful when there is burning of the soles at night.

CALENDULA in potency has a peculiar affinity for scalp wounds. You can diminish the probability of sepsis in scalp wounds by giving CALENDULA in potency as well as applying a local CALENDULA dressing. I am perfectly certain that you would be astonished at the way these scalp wounds do not go septic after the administration of CALENDULA in potency automatically – 3 or 4 doses about an hour apart.

CALCAREA SULFURICA.

This remedy is derived from Calcium Sulfate.

It is a constitutional remedy for warm-blooded persons, who are worse from being over heated. It also suits subjects who are disposed to suppuration.

It suits persons with boils, abscess, wounds, fistula, sinus, tonsillitis, otitis media and carbuncles with the presence of pus with a vent.

It was Dr. Schussler who first introduced this remedy and Dr. Kent found that it was a deep acting Homeopathic remedy. It is an excellent remedy to drain the pus from the boils and abscesses, which have a vent.

CALCAREA PHOSPHORICA.

This remedy is derived from the Phosphate of Lime.

It is considered to be a constitutional remedy in children, who are thin and emaciated in the neck, with rickets and slow closure of the fontanels of the skull bones

It is a useful remedy useful in tardy dentition and troubles of bones, non-union of fractured bones and in anemia.

The patient is peevish and wants to go somewhere all the time.

It is useful in headaches in school children near puberty, with a slow closure of the fontanels.

The patient may suffer from defective hearing.

The remedy is useful when the adenoids and the tonsils are swollen.

There is a craving for bacon, ham, salted or smoked meats.

The children are prone to vomiting.

The patient has diarrhea from fruits or during dentition with a fetid smelling flatus.

There is a colicky pain in the abdomen at every attempt to eat

Another important symptom is calf cramps, stiffness and pain that are worse with every change in the weather.

It is useful for girls during puberty, who grow tall rapidly with a tendency for the bones and the spine to soften.

It is a specific biochemic remedy for Hydrocephalus, Tuberculosis, Rheumatism, rickets, Spina Bifida and enlarged tonsils.

The patient requiring this remedy are worse on exposure to cold weather, during melting snow, lying after supper.

The patient is better in summer and in a warm dry atmosphere.
