This remedy is derived from the un-roasted coffee bean.

This remedy stimulates the functional activity of all organs, increasing the nervous and vascular activity.


It is a useful remedy to combat the bad effects of sudden emotions, surprises and joys.

It is a short and superficial remedy useful in tall, lean stooping persons who are dark complexioned, over-sensitive with an acute sense of touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste.

It is useful when the person has an unusual activity of the body and the mind. The mind of these patients is gay and easily excited. The person is full of ideas and quick to act. There is tossing about in anguish.


It is useful when there is a violent, irregular palpitation after excessive joy or surprise.

It is a useful remedy in restlessness and nervous irritation.

This remedy suits persons with great nervous agitation and restlessness with intolerance to pain.

This remedy is said to suit persons who weep with delight, and have alternating bouts of laughing and crying.

It is a useful remedy when subjects are prone to headaches from over-exertion, thinking or talking. The headaches are one-sided and it feels as if a nail were being driven into the brain, as if the brain were being torn apart or as if the brain was being dashed about. The headache is worse in open air.


It is useful when the uric acid levels are increased causing an irritation of the kidneys.


This remedy is very valuable whenever there is a toothache, temporarily relieved by holding ice water in the mouth, but the toothache returns when the water becomes warm.


It is a useful remedy in dysmenorrhoea with a hypersensitive vagina and vulva.


It is useful when the sleep is disturbed. The patient sleeps till 3 am and then is disturbed by dreams and is sleepless due to an overactive mind.

This remedy is also said to be useful in ailments, worse from the use of narcotic medicines.

This remedy is suited to persons who are worse after excessive emotions, narcotics and strong odors.

It is suited to persons who feel better in the warmth, after lying down or after holding ice in the mouth.

COFFEA will remove the severest pains, which drive the patients, which drive the patients almost frantic; then cry, tremble, do not know what to do; the pain is indescribable; it is momentarily relieved by holding cold water in the mouth.

Some useful Homeopathic remedies – Part 47.



It is derived from the climbing shrub called as Cocculus, belonging to the natural order of Menispermaceae.


It is a very good remedy for Motion sickness, and acts as a prophylactic it taken two days before the trip in the 30th potency.


It is useful to combat the bad effects of lack of sleep.

It is a useful drug to combat the bad effects of continued worry, anxiety, anger and grief.


It is useful in vomiting of pregnancy with vertigo.

It is useful in cases of indigestion, where the mere smell of the food causes nausea in the patient.

This remedy suits persons who have motion sickness and who get nausea with the very thought or smell of food, persons who have ailments coming on after the lack of sleep. It is also useful in vomiting in pregnancy.
I find this remedy is excellent, both as a prophylactic as well as therapeutic remedy for Motion sickness.

It is a deep acting constitutional remedy and is derived from the plant Rockrose.


It suits subjects who are prone to cold and to those who are extremely susceptible to cold.

It is useful in subjects who have enlargement and suppuration of glands.


It is useful in ear discharges with enlargement of cervical glands. It is useful in catarrhal conditions, where there is a thick and yellowish offensive catarrh.


It is useful eczemas around the ears.

It is useful in healing old deep-seated ulcers around the shin or the ankles.

It is a useful remedy in pyorrhea.

Some useful Homeopathic remedies – Part 45.



This remedy is derived from the Yellow Peruvian bark.

It is a specific remedy for debility resulting from the loss of vital fluids, hemorrhages, exhausting diarrheas and after bouts of malaria.


It is useful in gall stone colic, where pains occur after eating at regular hours each day, worse at night and better after bending double.

It is useful in neuralgic pains aggravated by the slightest touch, but ameliorated by deep pressure.

It is useful in intermittent fevers, such as malaria, where the fever recurs in paroxysms, 2 to 3 hours each day, recurring every 7th or 14th day, or every other night, associated with sweats all over at night.


This remedy is also useful in excessive belching, which gives no relief and aggravates after eating fruits.

It is derived from the Wormseed, Artemisia contra.

This is essentially a children’s remedy.

The child is big, fat, rosy, scrofulous corresponding to conditions of intestinal problems, such as worms.


It is a suitable remedy is for irritability of temper in children, variable appetite and grinding of the teeth.

This remedy is suitable, whenever, the child is hungry cross and wants to be rocked.

The remedy is useful when the child desires many things and does not wish to touched, is extremely cross in nature, desires many things but rejects everything.

It is useful in children who constantly digs and scratches his ears.

This remedy is useful, when the patient desires to bore the nose all the time and wishes to rub and pick the nose.

This remedy is useful when the patient feels hungry immediately after a meal.

It is useful to correct the hyper-acidity with epigastric pain.

It is useful for children who have an excessive craving for sweets.

It is a useful remedy when the child has a bloated abdomen and colic.

It is a useful remedy when the child sleeps on the hands and knees and when the child cries out and wakes up frightened.

When there are papillae on the tip of the tongue, the child has worms; CINA is the remedy.

Cina is a very useful remedy in Helminthiasis. Of course, we as allopathic physicians have several medicines, such as; Mebendazole, Albendazole, etc for this problem. But, Cina has that knack of getting rid of the worms and also helps combat certain behavioral problems in young children with Pica (the tendency to eat indigestible things). It is also useful in certain cases of nocturnal enuresis in children.
