This remedy is derived from Nitro-glycerin.

It is a great remedy for headache, blood pressure and congestion in the head and brain areas.

This remedy is useful when there is a pulsating and a surging feeling of blood to the head. It is a great remedy in cerebral hemorrhage with violent palpitation in the heart, which is sometimes visible on the chest, with restlessness and twitching of the muscles.

The remedy is also useful when the patient has a confused feeling and cannot bear the heat of the head and the patient feels compelled to keep the head uncovered.

The remedy is useful when the headache increases when the sun is up and decreases when the sun is down.

It is an excellent remedy for headache at the onset of menopause.

It is useful when the neck feels full with a tendency to open and loosen collars (like Lachesis).
