This remedy is derived from a shrub called as Witch Hazel.
This remedy is useful for venous congestions, hemorrhages, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids with bruised soreness of the affected parts.
The remedy is useful when the eyes are bloodshot and the blood vessels are enlarged.
This remedy hastens the absorption of eye hemorrhages.
It is useful whenever there is a profuse bleeding from the nose with a tight feeling across the bridge of the nose.

It is a useful remedy when the skin is blue, purple and bruised.

After the birth of the child, use HAMAMELIS and lukewarm water in equal strength to clean and afterwards, a compress of saturated with the same solution applied to the pudenda. This removes the soreness quickly.
