NITRICUM ACIDICUM.
This remedy is derived from Nitric acid.
It is useful for IRRITABLE, HATEFUL, VINDICTIVE AND HEADSTRONG PERSONS. Such persons are easily irritated by trifling occurrences and are inclined to be peevish, despondent and anxious about themselves. This remedy suits persons who are broken down by ling suffering, pain and physical diseases. This remedy suits persons who are extremely sensitive and suffer from nervous debility and trembling. It suits subjects who are hopeless in despair, with a deep sensitivity to pain, noise and jar and have a fear of death.
It is a useful remedy for disorders at the outlet of the body, where the mucous membrane meets the skin.
It suits subjects who show a marked improvement in their symptoms while riding a car.
It is useful for blisters and ulcers in the mouth, tongue and genitals.
It is useful for fissures in the rectum.
It is useful when all discharges are offensive, especially the urine, stools and perspiration.
It is useful for persons who have chronic diseases and take a cold easily and are disposed to diarrhea. This remedy is suitable in subjects, who find it too painful to swallow anything at all, with a pricking and splinter like sensation in the throat. It is useful in Ozaena of the nose, with green crusts from the nose that comes out every morning. It is useful in Mastoiditis, with an offensive and a corrosive discharge.
It is useful when the scalp is sensitive and when there is a sensation of “a band around the head”.
It is useful when the tongue is clean, red and wet with a central furrow and whenever there are ulcers in the soft palate. It is useful whenever there is a longing for indigestible things; like earth, chalk etc and when the subject longs for fats and salts.
It is useful in cases of diarrhea, which is slimy, offensive, thin acrid and the subject feels irritable and exhausted after passing stools. It is useful for violent cutting pains after stools lasting for hours. It is also useful in cases of subjects with piles that bleed easily. It is useful when the rectum feels torn, with fissures in the rectum.
This remedy suits persons is useful in persons who have strong smelling urine like HORSE’S URINE, containing oxalic acid, uric acid and phosphates.
It is useful in male subjects who have soreness and burning in the glans penis and beneath the prepuce. It is useful in PHIMOSIS AND PARAPHIMOSIS, and in Gonorrhea when the discharge is thin and bloody, later it gets greenish and yellow.
It suits female subjects who suffer from leucorrhoea, which are brown or flesh colored, watery or stringy and offensive and whenever the hair on the genitals falls out.
It is useful in subjects with shortness of breath while going up the stairs.
It is useful in subjects who have a fetid foot sweat causing a soreness of the toes. It is useful in subjects who have an offensive sweat under the armpits at night.
It is useful in curing warts, which are large jagged and bleed on washing.
It is useful to cure ulcers that bleed easily with splinter like pains.
It is useful to remove the black pores on the face, and to cure papules that are worse on the forehead.
This remedy suits subjects who are worse in the evening, night, in the cold climate and also in hot weather. This remedy suits persons who are sensitive to cold and every change of temperature. This remedy also suits persons who have ulcers and cancer at the muco-cutaneous junction, worse from touch and contact and bleed easily with sticking pains.
It suits subjects who are better while in motion in a car or any vehicle.
